Welcome to The Barr, I suppose everyone is wondering the meaning behind the name: The ‘Barr’ is in fact our surname - Hello everyone, We are the BARR family - mum, dad, 3 sisters and our cavapoo dog. We are a family run bar in the heart of Ainsdale Village. We have all worked individually in hospitality throughout our lives and we decided to bring all our skills together as a family and the idea for ‘The Barr’ was created and brought to life after we found the perfect location in Ainsdale where we live. We hope everyone enjoys their visit! Our doors are always open and we will be here with a warm friendly welcome for a drink and a chat 💚 thank you to everyone for the ongoing support!

Frequently Asked Questions
The Barr opening hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 2PM-10PM, Friday & Saturday 2PM-11PM & Sunday 2PM-8PM. We are currently closed on a Monday (Hours slightly amend each month).
We are mainly a walk-in venue, but we do accept a small number of reservations for groups of parties of four plus. (please direct message, email or call 07394540384 in regards to reservations).
The Barr is wheelchair accessible.
We are pet friendly, bring your dogs we can serve them treats and water!
Cakes & bar snacks are available.
We accept all major credit and debit cards and we also accept cash.
